Zapier
Add invisible watermarking and watermark detection to a Zap. Connect your Etchv account, watermark a file and see how files and retries work.
Build a Zap that watermarks or checks files, then sends the result to your next app. Request an early-access invite.
Connect your account
- Accept the invite and add Etchv to your Zap.
- Choose Connect a new account.
- Add an API key with
watermarks:embed,watermarks:detectand/orassets:read.
The connection check uses no credits.
Watermark a file

Save request_id, asset_id and the reference record. On failure, send error_code to your error handling.
For detection, select Submit Detection. Choose operation Detection when you collect the result. Compare watermark_id with the watermark IDs in your records. watermarked: false is a finished result: no watermark was found.
File and retry details
- Map a Zapier File field with an HTTPS URL. The connector downloads the file without sending your Etchv key to the site that hosts it.
- To retry, send the same inputs with the same idempotency key. Results that are still pending are never passed on as files.
- Collect results within 24 hours. Later, Download Asset can get a kept result with
assets:read.
